Tax Credits

INVEST IN EDUCATION.

The PA Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) program has been a crucial initiative in supporting educational opportunities for students across Pennsylvania. Introduced in 2001, this program allows businesses to receive tax credits for donating funds to eligible educational organizations. These organizations include public schools, private schools, and nonprofit scholarship organizations.

The Tioga County Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization offered by Develop Tioga, accepts EITC contributions and utilizes the funds to provide funding for local workforce development programs offered by our local school districts. Funds help support a variety of training opportunities from agriculture, culinary arts, construction, engineering, robotics and more.
